About Us

Referred to as the Trinity, the Bible makes it clear that though the Father (God), the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit are all referred to differently- they are one in the same. 

GENESIS 1:1-2 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters."

JOHN 1:1-3 & 14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made." 14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

The act of repentance is confessing our sins. We are sinners by nature, meaning we are imperfect. Our confession acknowledges our imperfection and seeks the forgiveness of God to achieve righteousness. 

ACTS 2:38 "...Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Salvation is being saved from spending eternity without God. The Bible makes it clear that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. There is no other God or name by which we are saved by.

JOHN 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

EPHESIANS 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."

The Christian faith was spread throughout the world because of faithful disciples who preached the Word of God. Developing men and women to be disciples of Christ is the mission of our church.

MATTHEW 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

To evangelize is to go out and preach. The only way the church is going to reach the community is to go out to them. This is dependent on discipleship. Before Christ instructed his 12 disciples to go out and preach, He equipped them with wisdom and first hand knowledge of God's love, today we have his Word, the Holy Bible. 

ROMANS 10:14- 15 "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

New Destiny International Christian Church was founded in the Imperial Valley, California in the 1980's. The mission of the church was to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the local community. Since its small scale beginnings, New Destiny has planted churches throughout the U.S. including cities in California, Arizona, Nevada, Kansas, & Illinois. 

AMERICAS

The first international missionary work began in the border towns of Mexico. There are now New Destiny churches in the cities of Tijuana, Mexicali, Guanjuato, Guadalajara and Acapulco to name just a few.  

Expansion moved further south into Latin America and established churches in the countries of Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela. 

EUROPE

After two decades of planting churches, New Destiny continued on establishing God's Kingdom into Europe. There are now churches in Pescara, Italy and Adriatica, Italy, and soon in Paris and Spain. 

Until the Lord returns, we will continue to do the work that the church was called to do- reach the community with the good news of salvation. While overcoming the obstacles of global and local events, the church will continue to be here for the people.
